SURF EXPO BEACH RACE EUROSUPA 3 STARS
Il conto alla rovescia è iniziato e la 15° edizione del Surf Expo è ormai vicinissima. Il 26, 27 e 28 luglio la spiaggia di Santa Marinella, località a due passi dalla capitale, sarà letteralmente presa d’assalto dal popolo del surf per vivere ancora una volta un grande evento.
La manifestazione, che celebra il surf a 360 gradi, non smette di stupire con sempre nuove iniziative, con obiettivi sempre più ambiziosi e con sponsor e ospiti che fanno da cornice ad una location ideale per gli amanti degli sport acquatici.
L’evento più cool dell’estate con oltre 20.000 partecipanti, festeggia la nuova edizione con la tappa del Campionato Eurosupa, già alla sua seconda edizione. I migliori europei e italiani saranno pronti alla partenza per disputare la gara in assoluto più importante del panorama surfistico per quanto riguarda la disciplina dello Stand Up Paddle.
Dopo il successo dell’edizione del 2012 e la risonanza mediatica avuta, quest’anno i media hanno già iniziato a far girare la notizia già da diverso tempo. Considerata la gara più bella mai disputata, i rumors mormorano che potrebbero esserci i big dal sup mondiale che vogliono cimentarsi sulle coste italiane.

La gara si svolgerà domenica 28 Luglio e il programma prevede:
Ore 10:00 Skipper Meeting
Ore 11:30 a.m. start categoria èlite 12.6
Ore 11:40 a.m start categorie allround e amatori.
*Programma suscettibile di variazioni a seconda delle condizioni meteo/marine.
Il percorso lungo circa 7,5 km per gli agonisti e 4 per gli amatori, un montepremi in denaro di 2.000 euro + orologi Freestyle California e gadget gentilmente offerti dagli sponsor.
Al termine della gara sarà organizzata la cerimonia di premiazione per tutte le categorie.

Hey there watersport lovers, are wondering where to spend your Summer? Where are you going to surf and have gun at the same time?
Well, the answer is just ITALIA SURF EXPO definitely!
Beside beeing the coolest event in the Italian summertime, Italia Surf Expo is a real gathering point for water sport lovers’. Considered the biggest event for surf culture and lifestyle, with its over 20.000 participants each year, I.S.E. comes back to “heat” Santa Severa Magnificent Landscape, a seashore place near Rome, well Known by local surfer because of its proximity with Banzai, one of the toughest spot in Italy for surfer and paddlers .
Celebrating the 15th edition, the 2013 Italia Surf Expo will take place from July 26th to 28th and thanks to the support of Local Authorities such as Regione Lazio, Provincia di Roma and Comune di Santa Marinella a huge “beach village” will be fit out with an imposing and innovative sphere- lighting system assuring a spectacular effect! All the ingredients are ready for an exciting full immersion of sports, music, parties and a tons of stunning activities have been planned during the day as well as by night such as: amazing dj set, “acoustic session” live music, bikini catwalks and much more.
As a special guest of the event there will be the great Garret McNamara, The man who has surfed the biggest wave in Nazarè, Portugal.
This year Italy Surf Expo 2013 once again a stage of the European Championship EUROSUPA elite category with 12.6 specialties beach race, race directors: Nicola Montenegro, Giuseppe Cuscianna.
After its first Italian Sup championship in 2008, I.S.E. this year will be one of the 2013 European Sup stage, Eurosupa, bringing together the best paddlers in Europe under the eye of Italian cameras print and broadcast photographers.
Saturday, July 27 WARM UP.
Save the date Sunday 28th July, this will be the competition day with an 7MILES serpentine course, classified as a 3 star Beach Race with Elite class 12’6 with a 2.000 € cash prize, the competition will be valid EuroSUPA Elite Beach Race Ranking.

NOTE: registration will be open on location Friday 26 & Saturday 27.
Prize money 2.000 € (as Eurosupa rules), products from sponsors, goblets and medals and
gadgets. At the end of the competition will be organized the award ceremony for all the categories.
